Joseph Boultbee
is a designer and cabinet maker, based in London. He is passionate about local tree species and their uses. Referencing traditional methods of making and material extraction with an emphasis on contemporary environmental concerns. The outcomes aim to be humble, raw and sculptural.
Alongside designing and making my own pieces, I have a background in cabinetmaking and furniture restoration. I have worked for a number of private clients ranging from antique dealers, interior designers, upholsterers and furniture start ups on a mixture of unique projects.
